Armed with a passion for design and a few savings to last him 18 months, Nick Grey resigned from his position as Head of Product Development at a vacuum manufacturer.

In 2001, he founded Gtech (Grey Technology), with a clear vision:

“Our mission is to provide the best loved floor-care and garden products in the world.”Working initially from his Worcestershire home, he developed the world’s first cordless power sweeper.

Since then, Gtech have gone from strength to strength. Today they’ve sold over 22 million products in 19 countries and have employees in the United Kingdom, United States of America and the People’s Republic of China, making them experts in the field of cordless innovation.

Major Cooling & Heating were thrilled to work with such an innovative and forward thinking company. The initial project was to install 7 new Mitsubishi air conditioning units to the Gtech Head Offices.  There were also some existing units that required repositioning.

​

The main consideration was to keep disruption to a minimum, the Major Team managed to do this planning their work around the various offices. After successful completion of the total air conditioning installation, Gtech staff were so pleased that they have now taken a maintenance contract for any future air conditioning or refrigeration works.
